Trotzdem ist Bluefish leichtgewichtig und schnell.

Für die Validierung von CSS/HTML/XML-Dokumenten benötigen Sie csstidy, tidy, weblint und/oder xmllint. Für die Vorschau von Webseiten benötigen Sie einen Webbrowser, der ihm auf der Befehlszeile übergebene lokale Dateien anzeigen kann. Für PHP oder Python unterstützt Bluefish php-codesniffer und pylint. Perl, php5-cli, make und java-compiler sind zwar nicht vorgeschlagen, werden aber unterstützt.

Wenn Sie nicht beabsichtigen, Debian-Pakete zu erzeugen, brauchen Sie dieses Paket nicht. Seit dpkg (>= 1.14.18) wird dieses Paket benötigt, um Debian-Pakete zu erzeugen.

Colobot (Colonize with Bots) is an educational game aiming to teach programming through entertainment. You are playing as an astronaut on a journey with robot helpers to find a planet for colonization. It features 3D real-time graphics and a C++ and Java-like, object-oriented language, CBOT, which can be used to program the robots available in the game.

crystal-facet-uml creates sysml/uml diagrams to document system and software architecture.

As software architect, you create a set of diagrams describing use-cases, requirements, structural views, behavioral and deployment views. crystal-facet-uml keeps element names and element hierarchies consistent. Lazarus is an IDE to create (graphical and console) applications with Free Pascal, the (L)GPLed Pascal and Object Pascal compiler that runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD and more.

Lazarus is the missing part of the puzzle that will allow you to develop programs for all of the above platforms in a Delphi-like environment. The IDE is a RAD tool that includes a form designer.

Unlike Java's "write once, run anywhere" motto, Lazarus and Free Pascal strive for "write once, compile anywhere". Since the exact same compiler is available on all of the above platforms you don't need to do any recoding to produce identical products for different platforms.

Thonny is a simple Python IDE with features useful for learning programming.

It comes with a debugger which is able to visualize all the conceptual steps taken to run a Python program (executing statements, evaluating expressions, maintaining the call stack). There is a GUI for installing 3rd party packages and special mode for learning about references.
