Bambam is a simple baby keyboard masher application that locks the keyboard and mouse and instead displays bright colors, pictures, and sounds.

Note: for safety it is recommended to run the game in a dedicated login session, rather than as an application in your regular session, especially when leaving your child unattended with the game. Look for session type BamBam in your display manager login screen.

Blinken is based on an electronic game released in 1978, which challenges players to remember sequences of increasing length. On the face of the device, there are 4 different color buttons, each with its own distinctive sound. These buttons light up randomly, creating the sequence that the player must then recall. If the player is successful in remembering the sequence of lights in the correct order, they advance to the next stage, where an identical sequence with one extra step is presented.

GCompris is a high quality educational software suite, including a large number of activities for children aged 2 to 10. Some of the activities are game orientated, but nonetheless still educational.

KAnagram is a game where a random word is shown with its letters scrambled. To win, the player must rearrange the letters into the correct order.

KHangMan is the well-known Hangman game, aimed towards children aged 6 and above.

It picks a random word which the player must reveal by guessing if it contains certain letters. As the player guesses letters, the word is gradually revealed, but 10 wrong guesses will end the game.

pySioGame is a set of educational activities and games for children aged between 3 and 10. The activities are grid based and can be played all in a single window. pySioGame includes maths, reading, writing, painting, and memory activities.

Tux Paint — это простая программа рисования для детей младшего возраста. Она не является обычным инструментом для рисования. Использовать её весело и несложно. Звуковые эффекты и анимированный персонаж помогут пользователю понять, что происходит на экране, и постараются его развлечь.

Программа Tux Paint расширяема. Кисти и фигурные штампы различной формы можно добавлять в программу и убирать из неё. Например, учитель может добавить набор фигурок зверей и попросить учеников нарисовать экосистему. Каждая фигура может иметь мелодию и текстовые подсказки, которые проигрываются и отображаются, когда ребёнок выбирает её.

Нет никаких сложностей в обращении с компьютером. Текущее изображение сохраняется, когда программа завершает работу, и появляется при её перезапуске. Сохранение изображений не требует ввода имён файлов или использования клавиатуры. Открываются изображения посредством выбора их из коллекции миниатюр.
