CaRMetal, založený na projekte C.a.R. (Compass and Ruler), obsahuje
(takmer) všetky jeho funkcie. Navrhuje iný prístup k pohľadu cez grafické
rozhranie.
- Konštrukcie Ruler and compass je možné zmeniť ťahaním jedného zo
základných konštrukčných bodov. Ihneď potom nasleduje konštrukcia.
Študent môže skontrolovať správnosť konštrukcie a získať tak nový
nadhľad.
- Stopy bodov a animované konštrukcie môžu pomôcť pochopiť geometrické
vzťahy. Stopy je možné použiť ako nové objekty za účelom objavovania.
- Makrá C.a.R. umožňujú konštrukciu veľmi zložitých objektov.
Makrá tiež umožňujú organizáciu geometrického myslenia.
- Skrývanie podrobností konštrukcií a využívanie farieb na jasnejšiu
ilustráciu konštrukcií. V C.a.R. je tiež možné čiary a kružnice
redukovať na príslušné body.
- Aritmetické výpočty, numerické riešenia, krivky a funkcie nad rámec
klasických konštrukcií. Je dokonca možné konštruovať v 3D pomocou
pokročilých makier.
- Je možné skúmať iné geometrie - hyperbolické alebo eliptické.
- Skriptovanie kresieb založené na JavaScripte.

Geometry::Primitive is a device- and library-agnostic system for representing
geometric entities such as points, lines, and shapes. It provides some simple

This package extends the MatGeom functions for Octave, a scientific
computing software. It is useful to create, transform, manipulate and
display geometric primitives in 2D. It also contains functions for
performing boolean operations between two polygons and to manipulate files
in SVG and gmsh formats.

CAD files in IGES and STEP formats, facilitates component integration in
