Le but principal de ce projet est de faciliter l'utilisation d'applications
obsolètes ou non pensées pour JACK dans un système JACK MIDI.
a2jmidid est un démon qui implémente un pont automatique. Pour chaque port
de séquenceur ALSA il associe un port JACK MIDI. Si le port de séquenceur
ALSA est une entrée et une sortie, alors deux ports JACK MIDI seront
associés, un pour l'entrée et un deuxième pour la sortie.

Patchage fournit une interface graphique pour connecter les entrées et les
sorties jack et midi. Chaque application est représentée comme une boîte
avec des entrées sur la gauche et une sortie sur la droite. Les boîtes
peuvent être déplacées et arrangées pour avoir un affichage clair du
paramétrage en cours.
