foxtrotGPS ist eine Navigations- und GPS-Anwendung. Standardmäßig verwendet sie Karten von OpenStreetMap. Zu den verfügbaren Funktionen gehören Herunterladen und Anzeigen von Karten mittels Kachelgrafiken, Aufnehmen von GPS-Tracks, automatische Zentrierung von Karten, Speicherung von Sehenswürdigkeiten, Geocodierung von Fotos, Setzen von Wegpunkten, Überwachung des Pulses via Bluetooth, Planung von Reiserouten und die Suche nach Reiserouten mit externen Internetdiensten auf Basis von OpenStreetMap.

GPSBabel konvertiert Wegpunkte, aufgezeichnete Wege und Routen von einem Format in ein anderes. Es ist egal, ob das Format ein gebräuchliches Kartierungsformat wie Delorme, Streets und Trips ist oder gar seriell zu oder von einem GPS-Gerät wie denen von Garmin und Magellan übertragene Daten.

GPSBabel unterstützt Dutzende von Datenformaten und wird von Nutzen sein für Aufgaben wie Geocaching (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching), Kartierung und die mit der Übertragung von einem GPS-Gerät auf ein anderes verbundene Konvertierung. Zu den interessanteren unterstützten Formaten gehören mehrere GPS-Geräte (seriell verbunden), diverse Kartierungsprogramme für PDAs und verschiedene Datenformate für Geocaching.

GPS Manager (GPSMan) is a graphical manager of GPS data that makes possible the preparation, inspection and edition of GPS data in a friendly environment. Marble ist ein allgemeines Widget und Rahmenwerk für KDE-Anwendungen, um geografische Karten anzuzeigen. Das Widget Marble zeigt die Erde als eine Kugel an, benötigt jedoch keine Hardwarebeschleunigung. Ein minimaler Satz von geografischen Daten ist enthalten, damit es auch ohne Internetverbindung verwendet werden kann.

MTKBabel is a command line program to operate the i-Blue 747 GPS data logger. It should work also with other GPS devices based on the MediaTek MTK chipset. For instance the Holux M-241 GPS data logger, the Holux M-1200E, as well as the 747 A+ GPS Trip Recorder, are also known to work.

Die aktuelle Position des Fahrzeugs wird entweder mit gpsd oder direkt mit NMEA-GPS-Empfängern bestimmt.

OBDII is a standard for getting diagnostic information from your car. The main tool, obdgpslogger, is a command-line tool to log that data, with your gps position, to a sqlite database. Provided alongside are various tools used to convert logs to formats such as CSV or Google Earth KML. Also contained in the package is an OBDII and ELM327 simulator, obdsim, that uses plugins to generate data.

OpenBmap is a free and open map of wireless communicating objects (e.g. cellular antenna, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). It provides tools to mutualize data, create and access this map.

The purpose of this software is to log GSM data, together with GPS coordinate. The result can be sent to their website, in order to build a free database. They store GPS quality, speed, GSM signal strength, etc. to keep a high quality of data.

This package provides a versatile tool for GPS maps in GeoTiff format as well as Garmin's img vector map format. QLandkarteGT is the successor of QLandkarte. Among various improvements (e.g. 2D/3D map rendering and reduced resource demands) the major difference is its device-independent architecture.

Additionally, QLandkarteGT serves as a frontend to the GDAL tools, to make georeferencing of scanned maps feasible for users. In contrast to similar tools (e.g. QGis) its straightforward interface is especially suited for non-scientific users.

This package provides a versatile tool for GPS maps in GeoTiff format as well as Garmin's img vector map format. You can also view and edit your GPX tracks. QMapShack is the successor of QLandkarteGT.

Eingaben des Korrelationsprozesses sind ein Satz von JPEG-Bildern und im GPX (GPS Exchange Format)-Format kodierten GPS-Daten.
