Debian Multimedia Graphics packages

Projekt udostępnia zasoby współdzielone, które można wykorzystać w aplikacjach graficznych i DTP, takich jak: Blender, CinePaint, GIMP, Inkscape i Scribus.

Pakiet zawiera pędzle, pliki z próbkami kolorów, gradientów, itp., dzięki czemu użytkownik nie musi instalować wszystkich tych zasobów osobno dla każdej aplikacji, która może wczytywać takie dane.

FractalGenerator jest programem opartym na bibliotece Qt, służącym do generowania obrazów fraktali (np. zestawów Mandelbrota). Wielkość przetwarzanych obrazów jest ograniczona tylko przez wirtualną pamięć komputera. Oznacza to, że obrazy mogą korzystać z pełnej rozdzielczości drukarki!

Istnieje możliwość powiększenia obrazu. Parametry obrazu można zapisywać w plikach XML i wczytywać je z tych plików. Przetwarzane obrazy można eksportować jako pliki PNG.

Zamysłem opracowania tego programu jest tworzenie plików graficznych, które mają być poddawane obróbce końcowej przez inne narzędzia graficzne, np. w celu wygenerowania ładnych grafik na ekrany monitorów lub okładki książek.

Gem is a loadable library for Pure Data (Pd), which adds OpenGL graphics rendering and animation to Pd. Pd is a graphical programming language and computer music system.

This package contains the core library. If you want to use external data (live video capture, film footage, still images, ...), you have to install one (or all) of the gem-plugin-* packages.

GIMP jest zaawansowanym edytorem obrazów. Można go używać do edytowania, poprawiania oraz retuszowania zdjęć i skanów, tworzenia rysunków oraz własnych obrazów. Udostępnia dużą kolekcję profesjonalnych narzędzi edycyjnych i filtrów, podobnych do tych, które można znaleźć w programie Photoshop. Oferuje wiele ustawień oraz funkcji zapewniających pełną kontrolę nad obrazami, w tym warstwy, ścieżki, maski oraz skrypty.

Obsługiwanych jest wiele formatów plików graficznych m.in. pliki JPEG, pliki programów Photoshop (.psd) i Paint Shop Pro (.psp). GIMP może być również używany do skanowania i drukowania zdjęć.

Aby otwierać pliki zdalne (np. za pośrednictwem protokołu HTTP), należy zainstalować pakiet gvfs-backends.

Aby używać urządzenia MIDI (takiego jak muzyczna klawiatura) w charakterze kontrolera wejścia w GIMP-ie, należy zainstalować bibliotekę libasound2 i zapoznać się z instrukcjami znajdującymi się w /usr/share/doc/gimp/ README.MIDI.

Ten pakiet zawiera niezależną od architektury obsługę plików danych, które są używane przez GIMP-a.

Pakiet zawiera dodatkowe pędzle i wzorce graficzne, służące do lepszego wykorzystania programu GIMP pod względem artystycznym.

GIMP Animation Package (GAP) jest zestawem wtyczek rozszerzającym możliwości GIMP-a w zakresie edycji i tworzenia animacji oraz filmów jako sekwencji pojedynczych klatek. Pakiet dodaje menu Video do okna obrazu GIMP- a.

• add-filmgrain (2.8): Add Film Grain Helps adding realistic film grain to BW images.
• btn4ws (0.8.0.1): btn4ws Generates a series of buttons in three states (passive, active, pressed) with various selectable effects on them, as well as XHTML, CSS and JavaScript code for using the buttons.

  • Che Guevara Script: This script generates a poster like the famous Che Guevara one from Jim Fitzpatrick.
  • Cyanotype Script: This script simulates the Cyanotype printing process.
  • Difference Layer Script This script generates two difference layers from the two layers on the top. It's similar to GIMP's built-in Grain Extract/Merge function, but the tonal range is bigger. • streak (0.6): Streak-Camera simulation A streak camera images an object through a slit - thus getting a "one dimensional image". This image is propagated along the second dimension of the image plane at a constant speed. The result is a picture of the time dependency of the object.
• traditional-orton: Traditional Orton: This is an effect invented by Michael Orton in the 1990s, which consists of taking two copies of an image, one blurred, and one sharp, and mixing them to produce an image with a dreamy quality. It is especially well suited to landscape and flower photography.
• wavelet-denoise (0.3.1): Wavelet Denoise The wavelet denoise plugin is a tool to selectively reduce noise in individual channels of an image with optional RGB<->YCbCr conversion. It has a user interface to adjust the amount of denoising applied. The wavelet nature of the algorithm makes the processing quite fast.

Graficzne narzędzie do importowania danych w formacie RAW z nowoczesnych aparatów do GIMP-a.

Unidentified Flying Raw (UFRaw) jest narzędziem do konwersji i manipulacji obrazami RAW z aparatów cyfrowych. Może być użyty jako samodzielne narzędzie lub wtyczka GIMP-a, obrazy można też przetwarzać wsadowo używając interfejsu wiersza poleceń. UFRaw odczytuje większość istniejących formatów RAW za pomocą DCRaw; narzędzia konwertującego RAW-y Dave'a Coffina oraz obsługuje podstawowe zarządzanie kolorami za pomocą Little CMS, pozwalające użytkownikowi na wybranie profilu kolorów.

IanniX is a graphical sequencer for digital arts, inspired by Iannis Xenakis' upic system for graphical scores. IanniX manages events described via graphical elements (like curves) and controls your real-time environment via Open Sound Control (OSC). It can also be fully controlled via OSC (or FUDI, if you prefer).

Mandelbulber2 to aplikacja typu 'ray tracing', służąca do rysowania trójwymiarowych fraktali, takich jak: fraktale Mandelbulb, Mandelbox, Julia, trygonometryczne, hiperkompleksowe lub IFS.

Ponadto Mandelbulber2 umożliwia tworzenie animacji i posiada prosty wbudowany nawigator 3D służący do eksploracji fraktali.

OpenCOLLADA to projekt dedykowany łączeniu wysiłków przy użyciu Collada w różnych narzędziach DDC, takich jak: 3ds, Maya, Blender oraz szybki SDK do odczytywania i zapisywania plików COLLADA.

Pakiet zawiera weryfikator do plików COLLADA, oparty na OpenCOLLADA.

Przenośny, wysokopoziomowy zestaw narzędzi graficznych do tworzenia wysokowydajnych aplikacji graficznych, takich jak: symulatory lotu, gry, systemy wirtualnej rzeczywistości i narzędzia wizualizacji wyników badań naukowych. Dostarcza zorientowanego obiektowo podsystemu opartego na OpenGL, uwalniając deweloperów z konieczności implementowania i optymalizowania niskopoziomowych wywołań. Zawiera wiele dodatkowych narzędzi do szybkiego tworzenia aplikacji graficznych.

PDP is an extension library for Pd that allows you to manipulate movies and live video data in realtime. PDP stands for Pd Packet, the data container that is used for images in PDP.

This library extends PDP with texture and render context packets, to use some of the power of current video hardware.

Warning: this is still experimental and incomplete!

Shutter is a feature-rich screenshot program. You can take a screenshot of a specific area, window, your whole screen, or even of a website - apply different effects to it, draw on it to highlight points, and then upload to an image hosting site, all within one window.

Whitedune can read VRML97 files, display and let the user change the scenegraph and all fields of all nodes.

The most powerful 3D modelling features of whitedune support the VRML97 Amendment1 style NURBS nodes and Superformula based PROTOs. This is mainly convenient for building some rounded shapes.

Whitedune supports some 3D inputdevices like joysticks, gamepads or all devices supported via the Xinput protocol and also quadbuffer stereo visuals.

YASW (Yet Another Scan Wizard) is an application used to correct images taken with a camera. It can be used to post process the scanning of a book or to correct an individual image taken with a camera.

Agave jest bardzo prostą aplikacją dla środowiska GNOME, która pozwala na generowanie różnych schematów kolorystycznych z każdego koloru bazowego.

Blender jest zintegrowanym pakietem narzędziowym służącym do trójwymiarowego modelowania, animacji, renderingu, postprodukcji, interaktywnego tworzenia i odtwarzania (gier). Blender dysponuje własnym, wyjątkowym interfejsem użytkownika, stworzonym w całości w oparciu o OpenGL i zaprojektowanym z myślą o szybkości. Wiązania Pythona dostępne są do obsługi skryptów; funkcje importu/eksportu popularnych formatów plików jak 3D Studio i Wavefront OBJ zostały zaimplementowane przez społeczność jako skrypty. Fotosy, animacje, modele dla gier, silniki spoza projektu oraz interaktywne treści w postaci niezależnych plików binarnych są powszechnymi produktami używania Blendera.

Deepin Image Viewer is an image viewer and manager elaborately produced by Deepin Technology. It is fashion and smooth, supports multiple image formats, user can view any kind of image. The image management in Deepin Image Viewer, allows user to rank images in Timeline by date, add image to "My favorites" or different albums. All images can be arranged in perfect order by Deepin Image Viewer.

This package is part of DDE (Deepin Desktop Environment).

Enblend jest narzędziem do komponowania obrazów. Enblend składa obraz ze zbioru zdjęć, zachodzących na siebie nieregularnie, w taki sposób, że szew pomiędzy obrazami jest niewidoczny lub przynajmniej bardzo trudny do zobaczenia. Program może być, na przykład, użyty do tworzenia panoramy złożonej z kilku obrazów.

Program wykorzystuje wielowymiarową interpolację Burta & Adelsona. Technika ta ma za zadanie sprawić, aby szew pomiędzy wprowadzanymi obrazami był niewidoczny. Podstawową ideą jest to, że cechy obrazu powinny być mieszane w strefie przejściowej proporcjonalnie do wielkości przestrzennej obiektów. Na przykład obiekty takie jak drzewa i szyby charakteryzują się gwałtownymi zmianami kolorów. Łącząc te cechy w wąskiej strefie, oko ludzkie nie będzie w stanie zobaczyć szwu ponieważ oczekuje ono zmian kolorystycznych na krawędzi tych funkcji. Chmury i niebo są przeciwieństwem. Obiekty te muszą być mieszane w całej strefie przejścia, ponieważ nagła zmiana koloru będzie natychmiast zauważalna.

Enblend nie posiada funkcji wyrównywania obrazów. Do tego celu należy użyć narzędzia takiego jak Hugin lub PanoTools. Pliki TIFF wytworzone przez te programy są dokładnie tym, czego Enblend wymaga do współpracy.

FontForge is a font editor. Use it to create, edit and convert fonts in OpenType, TrueType, UFO, CID-keyed, Multiple Master, and many other formats.

This package also provides these programs and utilities:

 fontimage - produce a font thumbnail image;
 fontlint  - checks the font for certain common errors;
 sfddiff   - compare two font files.

This is a manager built with the kind of features and abilities graphic designers, layout professionals along with others have felt necessary, but modernized with some new touches.

Fontmatrix has a concept of 'tagging'. This makes it really nice to group fonts and even sub-group them logically for use in a book for instance. It also has extensive gui support for showing all glyphs in a font, previews of sample text, variable sizing and also tells what kinds of advanced Open Type features are inside each font. These features have never been seen outside of a font editor. And not least, it creates a nice PDF catalogue of user's fonts for printing or reference. In short, fontmatrix is a font manager for professionals, but is nice and user friendly.

GEGL (Generic Graphics Library) is a graph based image processing framework.

GEGL's original design was made to scratch GIMP's itches for a new compositing and processing core. This core is being designed to have minimal dependencies and a simple well defined API.

This package contains a bunch of test programs.

Hugin jest programem do łączenia zdjęć w panoramę. W gruncie rzeczy, Hugin jest graficznym interfejsem użytkownika do Panorama Tools. Łączenie kilku zachodzących na siebie zdjęć, zrobionych z tego samego miejsca, w jeden większy obraz jest realizowane poprzez ich przekształcanie i wyrównywanie do utworzonych punktów kontrolnych. Hugin umożliwia łatwe tworzenie punktów kontrolnych pomiędzy dwoma zdjęciami, optymalizację przekształcania grafik itd.

Pakiet zawiera następujące nakładki graficzne, używające narzędzi wiersza poleceń zawartych w pakiecie hugin-tools:

• hugin - program tworzący panoramy - Hugin,
• hugin_stitch_project - wsadowy program łączący - Hugin,
• PTBatcherGUI - wsadowy program kontrolny do procesu łączenia,
• calibrate_lens_gui - narzędzie do kalibracji obiektywu.

Inkscape is an illustration editor which has everything needed to create professional-quality computer art. You can use it to make diagrams and illustrations, technical drawings, web graphics, clip art, icons and logos. A collection of hands-on tutorials show you how to combine lines, shapes and text of different types and styles to build up a picture.

A selection of powerful vector graphics editing tools comes as standard. There is excellent support for paths, gradients, layers, alpha transparency and text flow control. An extensive library of filters allow you to apply realistic effects and extensions allow you to work with bitmaps, barcodes and printing marks, amongst other things.

Most of the common vector formats are supported, including PDF, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD files, and it has unrivalled support for the SVG web graphics standard.

Between the suggested packages:

• dia: to export Dia shapes;
• libsvg-perl: to import .txt files (txt2svg extension);
• python3-packaging: used by the Optimized SVG extension;
• python3-uniconvertor: enables several import/export extensions;
• pstoedit: to work with eps files;
• ruby: there are several extensions written in ruby;

Metapixel is a program for generating photomosaics. It can generate classical photomosaics, in which the source image is viewed as a matrix of equally sized rectangles for each of which a matching image is substitued, as well as collage-style photomosaics, in which rectangular parts of the source image at arbitrary positions (i.e. not aligned to a matrix) are substituted by matching images.

Ten pakiet dodaje opcję "Zmień wymiar obrazu" w menu kontekstowym wszystkich obrazów. Otwiera okno dialogowe, w którym możesz ustawić żądany wymiar i nazwę pliku. Kliknięcie na "Zmień" finalizuje zmianę wymiaru obrazu lub obrazów przy użyciu narzędzia do konwertowania ImageMagick.

It relies upon libfreeimage and libxpm supporting many input file formats such as BMP, GIF, ICO, JPG, PNG, TIFF, XPM among others handled by FreeImage like DDS, Dr. Halo, IFF, JBIG, JPEG/JIF, KOALA, LBM, Kodak PhotoCD, PCX, PBM, PGM, PPM, PhotoShop PSD, Sun RAS, TARGA, WBMP, XBM, etc...

Also, PosteRazor can handle the following image color types: Monochrome, Grayscale, 4 Bit palette, 8 Bit palette, 24 Bit RGB, 48 Bit RGB (only via TIFF and PNG), 32 Bit CMYK (only via TIFF). 32 Bit RGBA images can be loaded, but are transformed to 24 Bit RGB by "merging" them with a white background.

It supports dimension units like m, mm, cm, inch, ft, pt(72th inch) and it prints the PDF output file in A4, A3, Legal, Letter or Tabloid layout.

Scribus is an open source desktop page layout program with the aim of producing commercial grade output in PDF and Postscript.

Scribus can be used for many tasks; from brochure design to newspapers, magazines, newsletters and posters to technical documentation.

Scribus supports professional DTP features, such as CMYK color and a color management system to soft proof images for high quality color printing, flexible PDF creation options, Encapsulated PostScript import/export and creation of 4 color separations, import of EPS/PS and SVG as native vector graphics, Unicode text including right to left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew via freetype. Graphic formats which can be placed in Scribus as images include PDF, Encapsulated Post Script (eps), TIFF, JPEG, PNG and XPixMap(xpm), and any bitmap type supported by QT5.

If you need to use the render frame install the texlive-latex-recommended package (suggested).

Simple Scan to prosta w użyciu aplikacja zaprojektowana tak, by umożliwić użytkownikom podłączenie skanera i w krótkim czasie otrzymać obraz/dokument w odpowiednim formacie.

Simple Scan jest po prostu interfejsem do SANE - który jest tym samym backendem, jakiego używa XSANE. Oznacza to, że będą działały wszystkie istniejące skanery, a interfejs jest dobrze przetestowany.

xsane może być uruchamiany jako samodzielny program lub poprzez GIMP-a (GNU Image Manipulation Program). W trybie samodzielnym xsane może zapisywać obrazy do plików w różnych formatach, służyć jako nakładka do programu faksującego lub wysłać obrazki na drukarkę.

SANE to skrót od "Scanner Access Now Easy" ("Dostęp do Skanera jest Teraz Łatwy") i jest interfejsem programowania aplikacji (API), który wprowadza znormalizowany dostęp do każdego skanera obrazu rastrowego (skanera płaskiego, skanera ręcznego, kamery wideo, aparatu fotograficznego, frame grabbera, itd.). Standard SANE jest wolny i jego krytykowanie jak i rozwijanie jest otwarte dla każdego. Alchemy is an open drawing project aimed at exploring how we can sketch, draw, and create on computers in new ways. Alchemy isn’t software for creating finished artwork, but rather a sketching environment that focuses on the absolute initial stage of the creation process. Experimental in nature, Alchemy lets you brainstorm visually to explore an expanded range of ideas and possibilities in a serendipitous way.

AnImaL is an imaging and computer vision library written in C. Differently from most other toolkits, it is intended to provide the maximum functionality by making strong usage of similar libraries. It is intended to be a common API to the best free imaging and computer vision libraries already available, such as ImageMagick and Gandalf. By defining a common API and using external libraries, AnImaL selects the best implementation available in them to implement a particular algorithm. This way AnImaL unites the best from the other libraries it uses.

Animata is a real-time animation software, designed to create interactive background projections for concerts, theatre and dance performances, and promotional screenings.

The peculiarity of the software is that the animation - the movement of the puppets, the changes of the background - is generated in real-time, making continuous interaction possible. This ability also permits that physical sensors, cameras or other environmental variables can be attached to the animation of characters, creating a cartoon reacting to its environment. For example, it is quite simple to create a virtual puppet band reacting to live audio input, or set up a scene of drawn characters controlled by the movement of dancers.

In contrast with the traditional 3D animation programs, creating characters in Animata is quite simple and takes only a few minutes. On the basis of the still images, which serve as the skeleton of the puppets, we produce a network of triangles, some parts of which we link with the bone structure. The movement of the bones is based on a physical model, which allows the characters to be easily moved.

Animata can be connected with widespread programming environments used by multimedia developers and artists in order to make use of the possibilities of these applications in the fields of image editing, sound analysis, or motion capture.

Blimp is a layered (non-destructive) photo editor. It supports many raw formats (through dcraw), 8-bit or 16-bit color depth per channel and editing operations including curves, grayscale mixer, resize, unsharp mask and local contrast enhancement, all of which are adjustment layers.

Blended RADiance (brad) is able to export Blender models to Radiance, both static models or animations, to make it easier to setup the simulation parameters, to calculate luminance/illuminance values on arbitrary grids.

COLLADA Coherency Test is a command-line version of CoherencyTest from COLLADA Refinery. It checks whether a COLLADA dae file is coherent (properly composed). This package ships two versions, built for COLLADA 1.4 and 1.5.

Cooka is a very simple image viewer written in C# and compiled with Mono framework. The application is really essential: it has a file system browser in order to select the folder containing images to display; a thumbs viewer useful to see a preview of the images within the selected folder and some information like image’s name, size and dimension; and finally a “view” area used to display the selected image. In order to handle images and to enhance image viewing, Cooka provides a simple toolbar that allows users perform some basic operation such as rotate, zoom, set as background.

Well, actually it is Gtk2::CV, a perl module that implements an image viewer. It comes with its own demo app, named cv, which is loosely modeled after the classic xv, although it displays images much faster than the great original.

FF Multi Converter is a simple graphical application which enables the user to convert audio, video, image and document files between all popular formats by using and combining other programs. It uses avconv for audio/video files, unoconv for document files and ImageMagick for image file conversions.

The goal of FF Multi Converter is to gather the most popular multimedia types in one application and provide conversion options for them easily through a user-friendly interface.

FLIF is a lossless image (and animation) format. It tends to compress better than other image compression formats. This is the reference implementation of the FLIF encoder/decoder. The command-line utility 'flif' converts FLIF to/from PNG or PNM.

Fluxus is an environment which allows you to quickly make live animation and audio programs, and change them constantly and flexibly. This idea of constant change (flux) is where it's name comes from. Fluxus does this with the aid of the Scheme programming language, which is designed for flexibility; and an interface which only needs to provide you with program code floating above the resulting visual output. This interface enables fluxus to be used for livecoding, the practice of programming as a performance art form. Most users of fluxus are naturally livecoders, and some write fluxus scripts in front of audiences, as well as using it to rapid prototype and design new programs for performance and art installation.

Inksmoto is the Xmoto level editor. It's an Inkscape extension.

Practical command line tools based on the ITK, intended for image processing. These tools are designed to take one or more input image(s) from the command line, perform a single operation, and produce an output image. For example smoothing of an image can be done with the tool pxgaussianimagefilter.

Note: these tools (specifically pxcastconvert) are required to run the Elastix test suite.

Limoo is an Image viewer, created using QML, Qt and C++.

MPView is image viewer and manipulator (can read and write common image types and do simple transformations, like crop, rotate, etc... on them). It is somewhat similar to IrfanView from windows. It requires Qt 4 and (optionally) libpng, libjpeg, libtiff and libmagick (the more of these, the better support of reading/writing various image formats).

Printoxx is a graphical menu-driven program which operates in its own window. Printoxx can be used to make and print a photo collage. Select image files and add them to a layout page using the mouse. Images can be moved around, resized, and rotated. Text can be added using any font. Simple frames can be added to the images. The finished layout can be printed on paper formats supported by the printer and CUPS driver (A4, A5, Letter, etc.).

Xviewer is part of X-App project, is a simple image viewer which uses the gdk- pixbuf library. It can deal with large images, and zoom and scroll with constant memory usage. Its goals are simplicity and standards compliance.
