Questo pacchetto contiene uno script per assegnare priorità ai gestori di thread IRQ in un kernel con applicata la patch realtime-preempt di Ingo Molnar. Lo script sfrutta il fatto che i kernel realtime usano i thread per la gestione degli IRQ e, per questo, a tali thread (come ad ogni altro thread in esecuzione sul sistema) può essere assegnata una priorità massima nel tentativo di minimizzare la latenza delle periferiche audio.
