Debian Games Network Games
While XPilot has a broad international community of players (mostly
on high-bandwidth connections) it can be enjoyed on a home network
as well. XBlast, on the other hand, achieves networking using the X
protocol, so it is best suited to a local network.
The list to the right includes various software projects which are of some interest to the Debian Games Project. Currently, only a few of them are available as Debian packages. It is our goal, however, to include all software in Debian Games which can sensibly add to a high quality Debian Pure Blend.
For a better overview of the project's availability as a Debian package, each head row has a color code according to this scheme:

XBlast è un gioco arcade multigiocatore ispirato dal videogioco
Bomberman (Dynablaster).
Caratteristiche:
- da 2 a 6 giocatori,
- 1 o 2 giocatori per server X (o fino a 6 con joystick),
- circa 1000 livelli,
- circa 20 modelli di giocatore,
- grafica a colori PoV-Ray,
- supporto per server centrale con statistiche.
Se si vuole fare da host per partite, si deve installare il pacchetto
xblast-tnt-levels e si vorrà probabilmente installare xblast-tnt-sounds
per il supporto per i suoni. Il pacchetto xblast-tnt-musics contiene la
musica di sottofondo per il gioco, se la si desidera.

XPilot è un gioco di manovre tattiche multigiocatore per X. Ciascun
giocatore controlla un proprio combattente equipaggiato con svariate armi e
potenziamenti. I giocatori competono in squadre o singolarmente; lo scopo
del gioco è di fare punti distruggendo gli avversari, rubando il loro
tesoro o gareggiando in un circuito.

Questo pacchetto è un'installazione completa di XPilot, inclusi client,
server e utilità per XPilot.
